Focus Microwaves, a Canadian company and a world leader in load pull, harmonic load pull and noise measurement solutions, is now closer to its European customers. On October 1, the company’s first European subsidiary opened in Ottobrunn, Germany, near Munich. The new sales and support office is serving customers throughout Europe, Turkey, Israel and Russia and is headed by Matthias Beer, a former product manager for vector network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz.

“We want to be closer to our European customers to offer even better support and to react even fasterto their requests,” said Dr. Christos Tsironis, founder and president of Focus Microwaves. “With the new European office we are accomplishing our corporate vision to offer the best customized solutions in the nonlinear measurement market and our mission to offer the best customer support.”

Focus Microwaves is now present in three major regions of the world. The company set up an Asian sales and support office in Beijing in 2011, making the European office the second subsidiary of Focus Microwaves outside of North America.
