Sangshin Elecom (Booth 4004) will spotlight its fully customizable, wideband, ceramic filter for 5 GHz applications at IMS 2011 in Baltimore. Covering 5.2 to 5.8 GHz, the MBP33RC5500S600A exhibits 1.0dB of insertion loss across the BW and is housed in a small, 8 x 5 mm package. Applications include WiMAX and multiple WiFi frequencies. The center frequency and bandwidth can be shifted for other applications including those covering emergency services, first responder and proprietary networks. For increased out-of-band attenuation, additional poles may be added by increasing the package size. Turn around time for customer specific prototypes is approximately four weeks.
