Pascall Electronics Ltd. has been awarded a $1.47 M contract by BAE Systems Mission Systems to provide Fast Switching Ultra Low Noise Agile Frequency Generators for the SAMPSON radar. This is in addition to the development contract for this program, which has a total value in excess of $2 M. The systems will be delivered over a period of 18 months starting in Q3 2011.

BAE Systems' SAMPSON multi-function radar forms part of the world-leading Sea Viper air defense system in operation on the Royal Navy's new Type 45 Destroyer. The radar system can detect all types of targets out to a distance of 400 km, and is capable of tracking hundreds of targets at any one time.

Based on the Isle of Wight, UK, Pascall Electronics is a leading supplier of RF and power products for the defense and aerospace markets.
