Tektronix Inc., a manufacturer of oscilloscopes, announced the opening of its new location in Santa Clara, CA. Employees located at the new site are from Tektronix as well as Fluke Networks. Building residents include: Tektronix Silicon Valley Sales Office and Technology Center, Tektronix Service Solutions Calibration Center, Tektronix BERTScope product line, Fluke Networks Air Magnet team and Fluke Networks ClearSight team.
The new location includes a Technology Center, which showcases the company’s latest solutions for a variety of applications including high-speed serial standards for USB3.0, PCI Express, HDMI and Displayport. In addition, applications experts are available to customers for measurement consultation and equipment evaluation.
“Tektronix has traditionally had a low key presence in Silicon Valley, with a sales office in Santa Clara,” said Amir Aghdaei, President, Tektronix. “Over the past 18 months, both Tektronix and Fluke have completed acquisitions that included key talent in the surrounding area. Our goal with the new facility is to provide all of these teams with a sense of community within our Test and Measurement Platform without the need for relocation. The facility was planned with growth in mind, as we continue to focus on increasing our presence and involvement in Silicon Valley.”
With operations in Santa Clara, Tektronix Service Solutions will provide more value to its customers by offering the following increased calibration capabilities, dedicated full time resources for test equipment pickup and delivery services, and improved infrastructure for customer support.
Tektronix celebrated the opening its new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, February 1, with attendance from Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews. Highlights of the tour included the Tektronix Service Solutions Calibration Center, as well as the Technology Center, which showcases the company’s latest solutions for a variety of applications including high-speed serial standards for USB3.0, PCI Express, HDMI and Displayport.
