Haidet will be responsible for directing the sales, marketing, and public relations teams within Nexius, spanning the company’s Technology Strategy, Network Engineering Services, Network Deployment Services, and Software Services practice areas.

“Chris is an excellent and timely addition to our management team,” said Ned Taleb, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Nexius. “He is applying his over 20 years of sales experience and extensive mobile communications knowledge towards deepening our relationships with our current customers and leading Nexius into new markets. As Nexius celebrates our tenth consecutive year of double digit revenue growth, we will look to Chris to expand on this success by delivering the personalized service and strategic solutions that have become synonymous with our company. ”

Haidet joins Nexius from Syniverse Technologies, a publicly-held company delivering messaging, roaming and other mobile communications products for global networks, where he served as vice president of North American sales. Prior to Syniverse, Haidet was on the executive team at inCode, a global strategic consulting and technology firm. As Vice President of sales and global sales operations at inCode, he grew the company’s bookings from $18M to over $92M in three years and spearheaded the company’s sale to VeriSign in 2006. Following the sale of inCode, Haidet joined VeriSign management as a vice president of the southwest region. He has also held sales management or executive positions with Galaxy Engineering Services (acquired by inCode), Wireless Facilities Incorporated (WFI), and Digital Switch Corporation (now Alcatel). Earlier in his career, Haidet served for over a decade at Diebold, a global leader in providing integrated self-service delivery and security systems and services, where he surpassed 100% of his sales quota for eight consecutive years.

“Nexius answers the market demand for wireless expertise that can offer strategic guidance and solutions at every stage of the value chain. To deliver a superior network, operators must first understand the customer experience. By providing the critical insight needed to bridge the gap between network performance and consumer expectations, Nexius is helping operators to build customer loyalty and meet growth goals,” said Haidet. “We look forward to transferring these skills into new markets and I am excited to lead and also to work with a company that is constantly driving technology to new heights in order to deliver leading-edge services to new markets worldwide.”
