Cobham plc announces that it has entered into a conditional agreement to acquire Aeroflex Holding Corp. ("Aeroflex") for $10.50 per Aeroflex share in cash following completion, giving the proposed transaction an enterprise value of approximately $1,460m (£869m).
TRAK Microwave is pleased to announce the appointment of David Moorehouse as president and general manager effective July 15, 2013. In his new role, Moorehousewill be leading the TRAK Microwave business, inclusive of the Lorch site in Salisbury, Maryland, and TRAK Microwave Ltd in Dundee, Scotland, as well as his home facility in Tampa, Florida.

The same proven and trusted technology featured in Cobham’s range of larger COFDM transmitters has been packed into a tiny transmitter measuring only 58mm x 38mm x 17mm and weighing just 51g.
Cobham’s Brazilian subsidiary has secured its first major contract in Brazil to equip State Police helicopters with high definition (HD) video surveillance downlinks which will be used on helicopters in 12 cities during the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2014 World Cup. The contract was developed with a local integration partner following the opening of the Cobham’s Sao Paulo office in August 2012 and includes both airborne and ground based equipment.
Cobham has been awarded a $31.7 million contract from the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to manufacture the AN/ALQ-99 Low Band Transmitter-Antenna Group for Navy and Marine Corps EA-6B and EA-18G electronic warfare aircraft. The contract funds the sixth full-rate production lot, and includes the first installment of two-part procurement for a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to undisclosed customers.
