Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced that it has enhanced its ACAS 0612 precision thin film chip resistor arrays with tighter absolute TCR down to ± 10 ppm/K, relative TCR down to ± 5 ppm/K, and relative tolerance down to ± 0.05 % for automotive, industrial, and telecommunications applications.
Vishay Intertechnology Inc. extended its VJ X8R series of surface-mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) for high-temperature applications. To save board space, the devices are now offered in the 0402 case size. In addition, the 0603 and 0805 case sizes have been enhanced with a higher voltage rating of 100 V.
Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced two new IHTH high-current, high-temperature through-hole inductors in the 0750 and 1125 case sizes. For automotive applications, the AEC-Q200-qualified IHTH-0750IZ-5A and IHTH-1125KZ-5A feature high operating temperatures to +155 °C, high rated currents to 125 A, and a wide range of inductance values from 0.47 µH to 100 µH.
Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced a new surface-mount Power Metal Strip® resistor featuring a wide side terminal construction that yields a high 2 W power rating in the compact 1020 case size. The WSL1020 combines its high power-to-footprint-size ratio with extremely low resistance values down to 0.003 Ω and stable resistance tolerances to 0.5 percent.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced a new IHLP® low-profile, high-current inductor in the 8787 case size with industry-high rated current from 9.7 A to 180 A and a high operating temperature to + 155 °C. The IHLP-8787MZ-5A offers high efficiency with maximum DCR from 0.17 mΩ to 28.30 mΩ and a wide range of inductance values from 0.22 µH to 100 µH.
Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced a new Power Metal Strip® battery shunt resistor featuring a molded enclosure with a four-pin connector. Providing easy PCB connection to the shunt resistor assembly, the WSBM8518 allows design engineers to focus on circuit development instead of PCB connection issues.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. introduced a new series of radial-leaded, positive temperature coefficient (PTC) thermistors. Devices in the new TFPTL <http://www.vishay.com/doc?33027> series feature nickel thin film elements with positive temperature coefficients of + 4110 ppm/K, fast response time of < 2 s, and high stability over a wide temperature range from - 55 to + 150 °C.
