The Rugged Mobile Rectifier is a portable commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) multi-application solution designed for powering C4ISR command and control communications systems and other defense-based electronics.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., received an order for $1.1 million for the company's 500 Watt, continuous wave ("CW"), high-power amplifiers for high throughput satellite ("HTS") services operating in the Ka-Band frequency.

Pulse Electronics Corp., a provider of electronic components, introduces a near field communications (NFC) antenna that is 40 percent thinner than similar NFC ferrite sheet antennas, while still complying with the EMVCo specification. The new ferrite sheet antenna enables mobile devices to read data from a distance of up to 40mm to enable them to communicate with other wireless devices for payments, access and control, credential storage and exchange, and content consumption.

Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) introduced the industry’s smallest monolithic point-of-load (POL) DC/DC converters for harsh environments, including radiation tolerant, geological, heavy industrial, and oil and gas applications. The 6.3 V, 6-A TPS50601 and the 6.3 V, 3-A TPS50301 are synchronous step- down converters optimized for small form factor designs.

Pentek Inc.announced rackmount additions to its Talon® RF/IF signal recording and playback systems. The Model RTS 2707 rackmount system, and Model RTR 2747 rugged rackmount system, offer recording and playback of RF/IF signals up to 700 MHz with signal bandwidths up to 200 MHz.
