Mimix Broadband Introduces High Gain, QFN Plastic Packaged Buffer Amplifier

Mimix Broadband Inc. introduces a buffer amplifier offered in a standard RoHS compliant 3x3 mm QFN plastic package, making the device easy to implement and handle in volume applications. This buffer amplifier, identified as XB1014-QT, covers 37 to 40 GHz and delivers +20 dBm P1dB compression point and +30.5 dBm OIP3. The XB1014-QT has 21 dB small signal gain and is ideal for wireless communications applications such as point-to-point (PTP) microwave radio.

"The XB1014-QT is a perfect choice as a driver amplifier in the 38 GHz microwave radio band," stated David Richardson, Product Line Director, Mimix Broadband Inc. "This device provides users with a highly linear, high gain driver stage, and the innovation of a high performance 40 GHz amplifier in a plastic 3x3 mm QFN package."

Mimix performs 100 percent RF testing on the XB1014-QT. Samples are available today from stock, and production quantities will be available in four to six weeks.
