Synergy Microwave Corp. announced the new DCO and DXO micro series of miniature voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) for C-band and X-band applications. These VCOs are based on Synergy’s proprietary patented technology and patents pending, which enhances bandwidth, reduces phase noise and improves immunity to phase hits.
Several models are available with starting frequency at approximately 4 to 9 GHz, in tuning bandwidths of approximately 1000 MHz, and tuning voltages ranging from 0 to a maximum of 24 VDC. These new series of VCOs are packaged in Synergy’s tiny VCO surface-mount package measuring 0.3" x 0.3" x 0.1" (LxWxH), are RoHs-compliant, and can be delivered in tape and reel for automatic assembly processes.
