Vishay Intertechnology Inc. announced that its Asian subsidiary, Vishay Intertechnology Asia Pte Ltd., recently received a certificate of accomplishment from Agilent Technologies in recognition of its excellent support to the latter between November 2005 and December 2006. Vishay had successfully supported and fulfilled Agilent's quick orders for electronic components which, in turn, had enabled Agilent to enhance its quarterly sales forecasts.

Vishay is one of the world's largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. Agilent, the worlds premier measurement company, provides core electronics and bio-analytical measurement tools to advance the electronics, communications, life science research and environmental and petrochemical industries.

"We are gratified to receive this certificate from Agilent," said David Valletta, Vishay's executive vice president, worldwide strategic sales. "It demonstrates Vishays value as a supply-chain partner to Agilent, a global industry leader. Special thanks to the members of Vishay's capacitor groups, resistor groups and Siliconix division who so ably fulfilled Agilent's requirements."

Frederick Yiong, Vishay's senior director of sales for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), India, and Australia/New Zealand, received the certificate on November 1, 2006, in Penang, Malaysia.
