S-parameter Calculation Software
CST Microwave Studio series design software provides efficient and accurate calculation of S parameters in a Windows-based environment. The software incorporates the proprietary perfect boundary approximation technique for accurate modeling of curved surfaces while maintaining the good performance of the FI method in the time domain. The program also incorporates powerful structure optimization tools and antenna features such as far-field calculations. The graphical user interface is easy to use and allows users to become familiar with the software within a couple of hours. The structure modeler is based on ACIS 4.0. The package also features a powerful macro language, port-mode calculation by the eigenmode solver in the frequency domain, automatic calculation and visualization of port modes and impedances, display of S parameters in xy plots and Smith charts, arrow or contour visualization of fields, movie display of field distribution and on-line display of all results during simulation.

Microwave System Planning and Equipment Selection Software
Version 3.0 of the Andrew Microwave Systems Planner series software designed for speeding microwave system planning and equipment selection features an expanded design capability from 20 to 27 GHz. A complete range of the company's Andrew ValuLine" microwave antennas is included in the antenna selection segment. In addition, a new customization utility enables users to select a catalog antenna and customize it to each application by specifying the type of input flange, radome and finish, and method of shipping/packing. A microwave antenna size-to-requirements utility provides recommended antenna sizes based on microwave system and path characteristics.
