CTS Electronic Components Inc. announces its latest product series; the Model 680 is a small sized, light weight and rugged HCMOS crystal clock oscillator for operations under extended temperatures and stringent environments.

The Model 680 offers many key features for applications requiring the performance and long term reliability of a crystal clock oscillator. The hermetically sealed 5x7 mm surface mount package protects the component from rugged environmental conditions. It operates at a frequency range between 20 kHz to 100 MHz. With excellent stability (±50 ppm over -55°C to +180°C temperature range), low phase noise (-170 dBc/Hz at noise floor) and ultra-low jitter (<80ƒsec), the Model 680 is uniquely suited for applications in military, avionics, engine control, down-hole drilling, geophysical services and industrial process control.

“CTS continues to be a leader developing products for many markets including communications, military, and industrial to name a few,” says John Fortune, director of sales and marketing for CTS Electronic Components. “The Model 680 is another example of a product designed to meet our customers’ diverse requirements.”
