MtronPTI, a leader in custom frequency control and filter solutions, announced that it will exhibit at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS 2012) June 17-22, 2012, in Montreal, Canada. Greg Anderson, President and CEO, Mike Howard, VP – Filter Engineering and Joe Doyle, VP – Oscillator Engineering, will be on hand to share future technology trends and discuss specific solutions in radio and telecom applications.

The company will demonstrate its newest line of digitally tuned filters, a key building block in software-defined radios. Mr. Howard said, “Tunable filters increase radio range and communication certainty by reducing interference produced by the radio itself and received from nearby sources, whether friendly or not.”

Paul Dechen, Vice President of Sales, said: “IMS 2012 is a great venue to connect with MtronPTI. You’ll hear success stories and be able to speak with our engineering experts about your upcoming projects.”

Earlier this year, MtronPTI announced compliance with the AS9100 Rev C requirements for aviation, space and defense markets. AS9100 certification recognizes the Company’s strategic focus on supplier management, on-time delivery, product conformity and risk management. MtronPTI was the first U.S.-based frequency control company to receive ISO 9001 certification in 1993. The AS9100 certification is another significant milestone in MtronPTI’s nearly fifty years producing custom filter and frequency control solutions for demanding telecom, military, industrial and aerospace applications.
