SAN DIEGO, April 14, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. is proud to announce the introduction of their new coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO5700Z) in C band (5690-5719 MHz) using a doubler inside and featuring ultra low phase noise performance of –106dBc/Hz @10kHz offset. This unique design offers a typical tuning sensitivity of 30 MHz/V and covers the band between 0.5-4.5 V at 5Vdc supply while drawing 140mA (typical, due to the doubler) over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85º C. CRO5700Z is ideally suited for Digital Radios applications that require ultra low phase noise performance. CRO5700Z comes in Z-COMM’s VCO-24H package measuring 0.6 in. x0.8 in. x0.22 in. This amazing VCO is ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow. This is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
