Columbia, MD November 26, 2007 Rohde & Schwarz Inc. today announced that Rhonda Pierce-Brooks has joined the company as director of human resources.? She comes to Rohde & Schwarz from the National Aquarium in Baltimore, where she was director of human resources since 2001. At Rohde & Schwarz she will be responsible for all employee-related activities including enhancing the HR infrastructure, compensation system management, and developing career growth opportunities throughout their U.S. operations. At the National Aquarium, Rhonda Pierce-Brooks redesigned the organizations benefit plan as well as its salary structure to provide a more competitive and beneficial solution, introduced a new performance assessment process, and launched an enterprise-wide training initiative. Before joining the National Aquarium, she was a divisional vice president at Magellan Behavioral Health where she was a key member of the team responsible for consolidating three companies into one and had overall human resources responsibility for the corporate division. Rhonda was previously director and later vice president of human resources at Green Spring Health Services (which was acquired by Magellan), where she managed the human resources acquisition due diligence processes, oversaw a nationwide staff of human resources professionals, and provided HR leadership as the company grew from 250 to more than 2,000 employees. Rhonda Pierce-Brooks received her BS degree in mass communications from Towson University, and MS degree in human resource development from Johns Hopkins University.
