The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, has signed a three-year site license agreement with COMSOL to provide all the Schools within KTH with COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software. Over 16,000 teachers, researchers and students will now have access to the entire suite of tools. COMSOL Multiphysics enables engineers and scientists in a wide array of engineering fields to conduct real-world simulations of any physics-based system for product design and development.

The site license worth $400,000 brings the same powerful simulation toolset that is being used by high-tech firms and top researchers worldwide to users throughout KTH. In this educational environment, COMSOL Multiphysics helps students gain insights into basic principles of physical effects and also how to build computer models that represent those effects.
