Skyworks Solutions, Inc. unveils a highly integrated, 5 GHz front-end module for wireless connectivity, Bluetooth® and mobile applications that exceeds 802.11n system requirements.  The SKY65535-11 integrates a power amplifier, a low noise amplifier with bypass, and a single-pole-double-throw, transmit/receive switch in a 16-pin, 2.5 x 2.5 mm, quad-flat-no-lead package.

Linear Technology Corp. announces a new high reliability MP-grade, wider temperature range version of the LTC3245, a versatile 250 mA high voltage buck-boost charge pump. The MP grade has an operating junction temperature range of -55° C to +150° C. The LTC3245 MP grade is available in a compact 12-lead MSOP package with a backside thermal pad.

Linear Technology launches the LTM4624, a 14 V, 4A step-down µModule® (micromodule) regulator in a 6.25 x 6.25 x 5.01 mm BGA package which, including a few passive components, fits within 1 cm² on a single-sided PCB or 0.5 cm² double-sided. Like other µModule regulators, the LTM4624 includes the DC/DC controller, power switches, inductor and compensation in a single package.

The OA3MHQM-2 is a four channel, high performance, broadband 32 Gb/s Lithium Niobate optical modulator driver with low jitter, 8 V amplitude and excellent gain and group delay flatness. It is designed for 100 G Optical Transport Network applications. It is ideally suited for integration into small form-factor (SFF) transponders. PMI Model No. P8T-500M40G-60-T-55-292FF is a high speed, single pole, eight throw, absorptive switch operating over the frequency range of 0.5 to 40 GHz.  This switch has over 60 dB of isolation and is capable of switching within 50 ns.

PMI Model No. P4T-50M40G-55-T-292FF is a 50 MHz to 40.0 GHz, single pole, four throw, absorptive switch.  This switch offers 55 dB of port to port isolation and a maximum insertion loss of 8 db. It has a switching speed of 100 ns and is independently TTL controlled.  The operating power is +20 dBm CW and it has a VSWR of 2.5:1 max.   

Linear Technology announces the LTC5510, a high performance mixer with very wide frequency range, extending to 6 GHz. It provides a continuous 50 ohm matched input from 30 MHz to 6 GHz, while delivering outstanding linearity and gain flatness. These features enable applications to work over a wider frequency span without needing to rematch the input for different frequency bands, thereby reducing cost and simplifying design.

PMI Model No. P2T-12G18G-45-R-SFF-10W is an independently controlled, high power, reflective single pole two throw switch designed to operate between 12.0 to 18.0 GHz and handle input power levels up to 10 W CW and 30 W peak with a maximum pulse width of 1usec and maximum PRF of 2 MHz.

M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (MACOM), a leading supplier of high performance analog semiconductor solutions, introduced a pair of 20W Ka-Band SPDT Switch DIE for high-performance VSAT, radar, and communication systems. Both the MASW-011036 and MASW-010646 are highly linear SPDT switches, developed specifically for Ka-Band applications that require up to 20 W of linear power handling, while maintaining low insertion loss and high isolation.

Linear Technology Corp. announces the LTM4649, a 10A step-down µModule® regulator with high operating efficiency and low temperature rise in a 9 mm x 15 mm x 4.92 mm BGA (ball grid array) package. The LTM4649 requires no heat sink, airflow or output current derating at full power from 0° to 83° C ambient temperature.
