ViaSat received a $33 million non-competitive, firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide senior leaders and support staff with global in-flight, broadband communications services — "a situation room in the sky."

Flirtey, a drone delivery service, has completed the first fully autonomous drone delivery to a private residence to advance research toward integrating drones into the National Airspace System. Infineon will buy Wolfspeed for $850 million.
