Anritsu Co. announced it has enhanced its “E” series Site Master and Cell Master handheld analyzers with the introduction of easyTest Tools aimed at helping engineers and field technicians create, deliver, and display cable and antenna analyzer work instructions.

Agilent Technologies Inc. and AT4 wireless announced that they have signed a definitive agreement for Agilent to acquire the assets of AT4 wireless' Test Systems business. Privately held AT4 wireless, based in Malaga, Spain, is a global provider of testing services and solutions for wireless communications.

Skyworks Solutions Inc., an innovator of high reliability analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, announced it has introduced analog solutions for low-noise receivers being used in high-sensitivity radio frequency (RF) automotive highway tag applications, including toll tag transponder systems. Skyworks’ devices are being deployed across 40 million transponders supporting small signal RF applications where primary DC power is not available.

San-tron Inc. announces the retirement of Sherman J. “Red” Somerset after 65 years of employment and several industry achievements. Red is stepping down as chief technology officer and past director of engineering at San-tron.
