Microwave Journal announced the retirement of Gary Lerude at the end of the year and the hire of Eric Higham to replace him as Technical Editor. Gary worked for eight years as Technical Editor/Editor and improved the editorial process by automating and streamlining the workflow. Gary is well known for his eloquent writing style and added a keen business sense to his technical reporting. Microwave Journal wishes him well in his retirement, but he will continue to consult through the first quarter of 2023.
Eric Higham has been hired as his replacement. Eric previously worked as Director of the Advanced Semiconductor Applications and the Advanced Defense Systems Services at Strategy Analytics. He is an industry veteran with more than 40 years of semiconductor experience. Previously, he performed a variety of engineering, business development, marketing and management functions for M/A-COM, MicroDynamics and Raytheon. Eric holds an MSEE degree from Northeastern University and a BSEE degree from Cornell University. Microwave Journal welcomes Eric in his role as Technical Editor.
