Empower RF announced a high performance X-Band pulsed module designed for new Radar applications where portability and extended range are key requirements. Operating from 9 to 10 GHz, Empower’s 1222 provides over 250 W peak in a compact pulse module featuring pulse widths up to 500 µsec and 20 percent duty cycles.
The 1222 module utilizes 48 V GaN on SiC devices and is lightweight, highly reliable and rugged. Enable/disable time is fast at less than 250 ns. Gain Settings are Digital or Analog.
Built-in protections with alarm include:
- Over Temp
- Over Voltage
- Reverse Polarity
- Over Current
- Temperature Reporting
- Current Reporting.
