A-INFO is pleased to introduce a family of waveguide switches for applications from 4.75 to 40 GHz available in double ridge waveguide sizes. Waveguide sizes include WRD475, WRD580, WRD650, WRD750, WRD110 and WRD180.
These waveguide switches feature up to 80 dB isolation with switching speed of 100 ms. The maximum insertion loss is 0.5 dB. The maximum VSWR is 1.5:1. The rugged switch can handle as much as 500 W CW RF power. With International Standard 6-pin Circular Connector MS3112E10-6P, the switch operates +27 V ± 3 VDC at 1 A and supplies both single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) and double-pole/double-throw (DPDT) configurations.
Waveguide switches are all designed with position indicators function that can feedback actual switching position of waveguide switch to the control system. The position signal is mechanically controlled and independent of the electric motor circuits. This is greatly improving the reliability.
A-INFO offer both E-plane and H-plane waveguide switches. The full-band isolation of standard product is up to 60 dB (min.) and 80 dB (even higher) is also available. They are ideal for applications that include power amplifier, electronic warfare, electronic countermeasures, microwave radio, VSAT, SATCOM, radar, research and development, space systems and test instrumentation.
