Ka-band Point-to-point Relay System
The RLY series Ka-band point-to-point relay system for local multipoint distribution system (LMDS) service providers can be used to link satellite cell hubs to the main headend cell and to set up discrete, private links within a cell for high speed data service at rates virtually limited only by the modems available. The compact size of the relay offers a low visual profile and makes installation and setup easy and multiple relays can be daisy-chained to extend links or provide branched coverage. The relay receiver is equipped with automatic gain control so that wherever the unit is placed, the output power level is optimized and remains constant. A variety of flexible power options are available: auto-ranging AC (110 to 220 V AC or DC, including solar-powered options for sites where running external power is impractical.
