Legacy Technologies Inc., a world leader in crystal oscillator glass-to-metal seal packages has entered the hi-rel power transistor market with a new line for demanding thermal and electrical management applications of power transistor packages.
This new line of power transistor packages includes a wide variety of T0-254, 257, 258 and 259packages outlines. Typical applications include power converters, motor drives, switch mode power supplies, power hybrid circuits, and power thrusters for military, aeronautics and space applications. Legacy Technologies Inc.(LTI) offers either glass-to-metal seal (GTMS) or ceramic-to-metal sea (CTMS) feed thru technology. They are available as standard product or custom products designed to meet specificcustomer needs.
A wide variety of enhanced thermal conductivity base materials are available to support demanding power applications. Base material offering includes copper, Cu/W, and copper core Alloy 52 leads along with other metals. Pre-mounted ceramic substrates in BeO or AlN supplied by Remtec, a LTI subsidiary company, can be incorporated to provide a complete package ready for final assembly and test.
