2.488 GHz SONET VCXOs
These subminiature surface-mount or through-hole voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) are designed for synchronous optical network (SONET) applications and operate at 2.488 GHz, extending previous frequencies of 155.52 MHz for OC3, 622.084 MHz for OC2, and 311.04 MHz for EC applications. The VCXOs are packaged in ceramic with a grounded metal cover for electromagnetic interference suppression. The operating temperature ranges from –40° to +85°C and frequency tolerance is specified at +/-20 ppm. Jitter is rated at 10 ps (max) (5 ps (typ)) with rise and fall times of 750 ps (max). Deviation is +/-75 ppm (min). Size: 0.450 x 0.550 x 0150. Delivery: stock to two weeks for prototypes; four to six weeks for production quantities packaged in tape-and-reel tubes.
