EMI Spacer Gaskets
These spacer gaskets are designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and grounding in small electronic enclosures. The units feature the company's CHO-SEAL" 1310 series conductive elastomer molded to a thin plastic frame. The conductive elastomer provides a low impedance path between ground traces on PCBs and metallized housing surfaces or other circuit boards, or keypad assemblies. The CHO-SEAL elastomer minimizes the risk of gasket damage compared to thin-profile extrusions or unsupported molded gaskets. The material provides more than 65 dB of shielding effectiveness from 100 MHz to 10 GHz. Price: starts at less than $2 each, depending on part complexity and quantity.
