RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a pair of high power GaN SPDT switches from TriQuint. The TGS2352-2-SM covers frequencies from 500 MHz to 12 GHz and handles input power up to 20 W while the TGS2353-2-SM extends frequency coverage to 18 GHz and handles up to 10 W of input power.

Both the TGS2352-2-SM and TGS2353-2-SM offer switching speeds <35nS and control voltages of 0V / -40V. Insertion loss and isolation for the TGS2352-2-SM are <1dB and 35dB typical respectively. For the 18GHz version, the TGS2353-2-SM, insertion loss and isolation are <1.5dB and 30dB typical. Both switches are offered in a 4x4mm QFN package featuring an AlN ceramic base. Target markets include commercial and military radar, communications, EW, and instrumentation.
