What:
AWR Japan’s Tetsuo Kitajima, marketing and operations manager for the AWR K.K., will present “New Technologies in Electromagnetic (EM) Planar Simulation” during the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) Technical Meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Osaka, Japan. Planar EM simulators have been widely used in the microwave & RF market place for decades now to characterize board, package, and chip interconnect. However, they have traditionally been limited by the size/complexity of problems that can be reasonably solved on a typical computer/network. Mr. Kitajima will present advances in numerical techniques that now make larger designs possible, including new compressed, iterative solvers, which can solve extremely large, complex problems with speed and accuracy.
