Donald “Shep” Shepherd, founder and president of AR Worldwide RF/Microwave Instrumentation, has announced the appointment of Jim Maginn to chief executive officer along with a series of organizational changes and promotions. As of May 8th, 2006, Jim Maginn assumed the CEO position, leaving AR Worldwide founder and president Donald Shepherd more time to focus on the company’s future growth plans.

A fourteen-year veteran of AR Worldwide, Maginn, who previously held the post of chief operating officer, rose through the ranks from VP, engineering and manufacturing to become the first CEO to succeed Shepherd, who founded the company over thirty years ago.

Bohdan “Bo” Haluszczak has moved from microelectronics manager to VP, manufacturing. In his new position, Haluszczak assumes responsibility for all manufacturing functions.

Bill Martin, who has been assistant controller at the company since 1999, has been promoted to controller. Harry Parke, a veteran of AR since 1997, has been promoted from VP, corporate controller to corporate financial officer. Parke will oversee finances at the corporate level of AR Worldwide.

Richard Rogers, VP marketing, will retire in late June after 13 years with AR. Ken Shepherd, VP, sales will become vice president of both sales and marketing upon Rogers’ retirement.
