Custom MMIC announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Army SBIR Program Management Office for participation in the Commercialization Pilot Program (CPP) for 2011. The CPP award follows the successful completion by CMDS of its Phase II contract, “High Efficiency, Low Power, Low Noise Amplifiers for SATCOM.”

“We are very excited to be part of the U.S. Army’s commercialization program to further develop state of the art components for phased array systems,” said Paul Blount, President and CEO of CMDS. “The components developed under this CPP contract will allow us to provide all key elements of the RF front-end block diagram, thus enabling military and commercial markets to reduce their total cost of ownership of SATCOM and RADAR systems.”
