Anritsu Co. and OML Inc. introduce a millimeter-wave (mm-wave) solution for spectrum and signal analysis of emerging wideband communications systems.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., was awarded a $3.2M contract for satellite communications ground equipment. A mobile operator in Latin America will procure equipment against the contract to support satellite-based mobile backhaul network expansion projects. 

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. announced that its Integral Systems subsidiary executed a contract modification with the Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) and Missile Systems Center (SMC) to complete development and fielding of RAIDRS Block 10 (RB-10). The modification resulted in an additional contract value of $9.9M on the RAIDRS contract.

The U.S. Army has awarded Raytheon BBN Technologies a $5.5M contract to develop a two-way communication and translation system that can be used on a variety of operating systems and platforms, including portable, mobile and net-enabled devices.

Harris Corp. provided first-of-its kind integrated wideband networking capabilities that successfully connected dismounted soldiers to senior commanders within a Brigade Combat Team at the recent US Army Network Integration Evaluation.

Mercury Computer Systems Inc. of Chelmsford, MA, will pay $70 M to acquire a pair of companies that make electronic warfare and intelligence-gathering systems. Mercury is buying KOR Electronics Inc. of Cypress, CA, which makes digital radio and radar test gear, as well as Paragon Dynamics of Aurora, CO, which provides intelligence analysis and exploitation services.
