Custom MMIC, (www.CustomMMIC.com), a developer of performance-driven monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), has launched a new website which includes information related to its growing product library of commercially available amplifiers, mixers, control devices, multipliers, and multi-function MMICs.
Rohde & Schwarz now offers harmonic filter options for its R&S SMB100A microwave signal generator. These filters make it possible to achieve a harmonic suppression of more than –50 dBc over a wide frequency range from 150 MHz to max. 40 GHz. At low frequencies below 3 GHz, it is even possible to achieve an excellent –58 dBc.
AWR Corp. and Optenni Ltd. announced AWR Connected for Optenni Lab, an integrated workflow that accelerates wireless antenna design by enabling optimized matching circuits to be transferred from Optenni Lab matching circuit software to AWR’s Microwave Office high-frequency design software with a single mouse click. The interface constructs the matching circuit in Microwave Office, sets up and runs the simulation, and then allows for further refinement and analysis within Microwave Office and AXIEM®, AWR’s 3D planar electromagnetic simulator.
AWR Corp. announces the commercial release and immediate availability of Analyst. Analyst is a full featured, 3D EM industry standard FEM simulator that is completely integrated into AWR’s Microwave Office circuit simulation environment.
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced it will show its newest microwave and RF design, test and measurement solutions for the aerospace, defense, research, education, communications, transportation and medical markets at European Microwave Week (Booth 114), Oct. 29- 31, at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam.
GreenPeak was challenged with designing a GP510 system-on-chip RF4CE communication controller for integration into set-top boxes and GP561 for the remote controller devices. The chips needed to be optimized for low cost while at the same time providing superior performance.
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced it will demonstrate its newest LTE and WLAN test and measurement solutions, which cover the global technology and applications ecosystem for next-generation mobile broadband networks, at 4G World (Booth 322), McCormick Place West, in Chicago, Oct. 30-31.
A highlight at the Rohde & Schwarz booth at the electronica trade fair in Munich, Germany is the new R&S ESR EMI test receiver. Thanks to its broadband architecture, it performs standard-compliant disturbance measurements up to 6000 times faster than other solutions.
X-COM Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Bird Technologies, introduced version 3.0 of its RF Editor Graphical RF Editor software, the industry's most advanced tool for modifying and building custom RF signal waveform files for use in defense, commercial, and system verification applications. RF Editor Version 3.0 is more intuitive, faster, and adds useful features that expand its capabilities.
