Richardson RFPD Inc. announces availability and full design support capabilities for eleven new low loss, high density silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET power modules from Microsemi Corporation (Microsemi).

Silvus Technologies Inc. has been awarded a contract under DARPA STO’s 100 Gb/s RF Backbone (100G) program. The total dollar value of this 20 month Phase I contract is approximately $3.7 M. As a final deliverable of this Phase I contract Silvus is to demonstrate a MIMO system capable of multiplexing 8 independent streams each carrying 1 Gbps data over a line of sight wireless range above 50 km.

FIRST RF Corp. announced that it has been awarded 12 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I contracts from the DoD 13.1 competition. The company earned ten Air Force and two Navy SBIR phase 1 projects.

Aeroflex Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp., announced the introduction of the new 3920B digital radio test set for Analog AM and FM, Digital P25, P25 Phase II, DMR, NXDN™, dPMR, TETRA and TEDS technologies. The 3920B features a new low phase noise RF signal generator in addition to the already advanced functionality available on the Aeroflex 3900 Series radio test sets. The 3920B is the direct replacement for all versions of the Aeroflex 3900 Series, including the 3901, the 3902, and the 3920.

Phase Matrix Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of National Instruments, participated in the demonstration of the world's first 100 GHz real-time oscilloscope. The integrated microwave assembly designed by Phase Matrix for the demonstration is a broadband downconverter, which allows the successful acquisitioning and displaying of live signals at 100 GHz bandwidth.

Vaunix Technology Corp., (www.vaunix.com), a manufacturer of USB controlled and powered test equipment, is excited to announce the addition of their new Lab Brick Phase Shifter, the LPS-802. The new product has a frequency of 4-8 GHz and provides excellent phase accuracy while offering one-degree phase resolution.

NEL Frequency Controls Inc. announced the release of a new reduced height profile option for its ultra low phase noise OCXO at 100 MHz. The O-CIH-X Series is now available with 0.4’’ (10.2 mm) height profile in addition to the 0.5” (12.7 mm) original model. This OCXO offers superior close-in phase noise of -105 dBc/Hz and -185 dBc/Hz phase noise on the floor.
