WIN Semiconductors reported initial revenue for September and the third quarter, reflecting strong growth year-over-year, yet some softness month-to-month and quarter-to-quarter.

Net revenue for September was NT$1,111 million ($35 million), which was 7.6 percent above the prior September and down 8 percent from August.

For the third fiscal quarter (July through September), WIN revenue totaled NT$3,548 million ($113 million), up 22 percent year-over-year and down 0.3 percent compared to the second quarter of 2016.

Third quarter revenue from compound semiconductors was approximately 98 percent of WIN's total, at NT$3,472 million ($110 million). The third quarter compound semiconductor results reflect an increase of 19 percent year-over-year and were down 2.4 percent from the prior quarter.

Year-to-date revenue (January through September) was NT$10,395 million ($330 million), 18 percent above the same period in 2015.
