Sub10 Systems has appointed SideBand Systems Inc. as its first North American distributor and value-added reseller. Based in Beverly, MA, SideBand Systems will resell all Sub10 point-to-point radio link products in the U.S. market.
From its manufacturing base in Devon, UK, Sub10 Systems is pioneering the use of high capacity, high speed millimeter-wave radio links to provide point-to-point fibre-thru-the-air links for telecoms operators, ISPs and Enterprise business customers.
In little more than a year, the company has reached more than 1000 deployed links in the UK and Europe and sees a big market opportunity within next generation mobile phone LTE networks – which will need high capacity backhaul solutions to link the network of small cells required to meet the data demands of the smartphone generation.
