Injection Molded Absorbers and Dielectric Materials
These compounds offer magnetic and dielectric properties that are utilized with injection molding and thermal compression techniques for production of high quantities. The injection molding technique was introduced in order to improve part cost compared to traditional machining of customized shaped parts. Standard dimensional tolerances can be maintained with molding techniques. Within the magnetically loaded compounds, the applications include absorber termination loads, attenuators, absorber covers and housings. Dielectric loaded compounds are customized in functions of the required permittivity, temperature and mechanical stability.

Liquid Crystalline Polymer
The R/flex® 3000 family of liquid crystalline polymer (LCP)-based circuit materials complements the R/flex 3600 LCP, single-clad laminate. The R/flex 3850® double-clad laminate offers a low dielectric constant (Dk = 2.9) for controlled impedance combined with good dimensional stability for dense fine-line applications. R/flex 3850 laminate is produced in a range of copper and film thicknesses, just as the single-clad laminate, and is available in standard panel formats. The R/flex 3000 family of materials now includes a single-clad lower melt point and a double-clad high melt temperature laminate. These materials offer a unique combination of mechanical, electrical, thermal and environmental properties for tightly controlled impedance flex interconnections, next-generation wireless handsets, high density flip-chip packages and moisture-resistant sensors.

Thermally Stable Material
The TSM-30 is a material that was specifically engineered to offer customers a thermally stable material, while also providing a high performance, high frequency material that exhibits low loss and dimensional stability. TSM-30 is currently available in sizes up to 36" ¥ 48", with cut panel sizes available: 12" x 18", 18" x 24" and 24" x 36". Material can be purchased in increments of 0.0050", with all standard copper thicknesses.
High Resistivity Silicon
This HiRes™ is a high purity, high resistivity silicon for microwave and millimeter-wave applications. Wafers made from it can replace existing RF wafer substrates without compromising important parameters and make “one chip” solutions possible. It is a monocrystalline silicon grown by the Float Zone process with a bulk resistivity from 8000 Ω-cm to 30,000 Ω-cm. This silicon is available with both p and n-type dopants and has a narrow axial and radial resistivity tolerance to ensure uniform microwave performance. A material’s loss tangent (tanδ) is significant and HiRes silicon claims to exhibit values of tand far below those of low resistivity silicon.

The 116 series of dielectric M, Max-K™ is the newest addition to the single layer capacitor line. Microminiature Coaxial Connectors
This series of MC-Card microminiature coaxial connectors offers a 50 W impedance and can replace MMCX connectors in many wireless and telecom applications. These connectors feature snap-on mating, allowing rotation when mated, and operate through a frequency range of DC to 6 GHz.
