CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® [CST MWS] is a leading edge tool for the fast and accurate simulation of high frequency problems. Applications include the expanding areas of: wireless design and mobile communication, signal integrity, defense and EMC.
CST STUDIO SUITE™ 2006 is the culmination of many years of research and development into the most efficient and accurate computational solutions to 3D electromagnetic designs.
Significant improvements in the quality and reliability of indoor WLAN communications are claimed for devices with MIMO technology applying 802.11n standards, which allow users to achieve a theoretical data rate up to 300-600 Mbps on a single transmission. This paper presents an analysis of a commercial 802.11n MIMO 2×3 dual band (2.4 and 5 GHz) system focusing on the operational throughput performance over an indoor environment for Line of Sight (LOS) and Non Line of Sight (NLOS) scenarios. Combined field strength distribution, throughput, and propagation-channel environments are examined, comparing physical measurements with simulation results generated in Remcom’s Wireless InSite.
We have a presentation available on our website that highlights Wireless InSite’s new capabilities. This short slideshow provides a more detailed look at the features the new release has to offer.
CST STUDIO SUITE benefits from an integrated design environment which gives access to its entire range of solver technology. This was developed in response to the growing demand for coupled problems and co-simulation.
April 29, 2010 - This new white paper from AWR® provides a fundamental understanding of ports so that designers can select them properly in the process of circuit simulation. It traces the evolution of ports in EM simulation and examines all aspects of how they can be employed to make design simulation practical.
Multitest, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of test equipment for semiconductor integrated circuits (ICs), has been able to leverage the efficiency of AWR’s ACE™ automated circuit extraction technology within Microwave Office® software to simplify and streamline its printed circuit board (PCB) simulations so that they are completed in significantly less time.
This white paper provides comprehensive information about rapidly-emerging nonlinear models and measurement systems and how AWR’s Microwave Office® high-frequency design software effectively employs them.
Although the commercialization of LTE technology began in end 2009, the technology is still being enhanced in order to meet ITU-Advanced requirements. This application note summarizes these necessary improvements, which are known as LTE-Advanced.
