Pat Hindle, Media Director

Pat Hindle is media director for Microwave Journal® and has been with the magazine for 12 years. He parlayed his process engineering background into a management role in marketing communications for several leading microwave semiconductor manufacturers including MACOM, Raytheon and Skyworks (Alpha Industries), in addition to working at MIT Nanostructures Laboratory manufacturing X-ray diffraction gratings for space research telescopes like Chandra. He has a B.S. in Materials Science Engineering from Cornell University and MBA from Northeastern University. In his current role as MWJ editorial director, he is responsible for setting MWJ’s editorial direction and developing marketing opportunities for industry clients. He has been the conference manager for EDI CON China and helped launch Signal Integrity™ Journal plus co-hosts the Frequency Matters videos and podcasts.

Jeanmarc Laurent, Vice President

Jeanmarc Laurent is Vice President founder and inventor of MIlliBox. Together with Chinh Doan the CEO and founder, they pioneered mmWave IC devices and customer application since 2005 at SiBEAM, which became Silicon Image then Lattice Semiconductor.

Before this, Jeanmarc worked at C-Cube which became LSI Logic where he led teams of application engineers putting semiconductor design in mass product and has several patents.

Jeanmarc is all about solution creativity and customer success.

Brian Walker, Senior RF Design Engineer, SME

Brian Walker is the Senior RF Engineer, SME at Copper Mountain Technologies. He helps customers resolve technical issues and develops new solutions for VNA applications in test and measurement. Previously, he was the Manager of RF design at Bird Electronics, where he directed a team of RF Designers and created new and innovative products. Prior to that, he worked for the Motorola Component Products Group and was responsible for the design of ceramic comb-line filters for communications devices. Brian is a Senior Member of the IEEE, graduated from the University of New Mexico, has over 40 years of RF Design experience, and has authored 3 U.S. Patents.
