Large Semi Likes to Get Small

In this interview Bryan Ingram talks to Microwave Journal about the largest independent semiconductor company in the world, the wireless infrastructure market and the company’s many innovations especially in the area of micro-miniaturization. Ingram joined Hewlett-Packard in 1990 after holding a number of engineering and marketing positions at Westinghouse Electric Corp. Prior to the spin-off of Agilent Technologies from HP in 1999, Ingram headed up the strategic marketing effort and the marketing department for communications components. In 2000, he accepted the post of Vice President and General Manager of WSD. Ingram holds a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering and communications systems from the University of Illinois and an MSEE degree from Johns Hopkins University.

Since joining Peregrine in 2002, he has contributed to the company's focus on the RF wireless and broadband markets. Prior to joining Peregrine Semiconductor, Novak served as corporate marketing manager for CTS Corp. and as an electrical engineer at Westinghouse Corp., and later moved to a marketing role with the commercial business unit of its subsidiary, Xetron Corp. Novak holds a BSEE degree from the University of Cincinnati and and an MBA degree from Xavier University.
