RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Sunny Electronics' new lineup of crystal oscillators (XOs) and voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs). CST and MAGUS are developing new tools for linear antenna arrays including feed networks, to launch with the newest version of Magus' flagship product Antenna Magus.

Skyworks Solutions Inc., an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, announced that it is partnering with Wistron NeWeb Corp., a leading ODM in Asia and supplier of connected home solutions for a number of branded OEMs.  WNC is leveraging Skyworks’ power management and ZigBee® front-end modules for several of their low-power RF devices that, among other things, allows consumers to turn lights on and off, automate appliances, monitor security cameras and control other things around the home from anywhere via their smartphone.

Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its new R&S SMW200A high-end vector signal generator by adding the R&S SMW K540 option for envelope tracking. This option enables quick and easy testing of envelope tracking power amplifiers for smartphones, base stations and tactical radios.   

Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) and Optenni Ltd (Optenni) are collaborating to provide engineers with design tools for MIMO antenna optimization. These tools for multiport matching will be demonstrated at European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2013, booth #103, and in a free webinar on October 24.

Linear Technology Corp. introduces the LTC2338-18, an 18-bit 1 Msps no latency analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a wide ±10.24 V fully differential, true bipolar input range for high voltage, industrial applications. The device operates from a single 5V supply, achieves 100 dB SNR and -110 dB THD and features an internal 2.048 V (20 ppm/°C max) reference and reference buffer. An input divider network scales and level shifts the input signal, eliminating complicated circuitry required to directly interface true bipolar signals. 

RFMW Ltd. announces immediate availability for Carlisle Interconnect Technologies WMP series of sub-miniature, blind-mate interconnect solutions. The WMP series is ideal for complex, high performance microwave modules and systems where the use of a light weight connector is a primary issue. Skyworks Solutions Inc. introduces four linear power amplifiers for LTE and WCDMA applications. The fully matched surface mount SKY66001-11 (2110 to 2170 MHz), SKY66002-11 (1900 to 2025 MHz), SKY66005-11 (850 to 920 MHz) and SKY66008-11 (900 to 990 MHz) modules meet the stringent spectral linearity requirements of femtocell applications with high power-added efficiency. An integrated directional coupler eliminates the need for any external coupler.
