Adding 3U power amplifier blocks is accomplished easily and simply with no phase matching required. Exodus Advanced Communications announced the release of its VHF/UHF amplifier model AMP1136, a new 20 to 1000 MHz, 200 W Min CW LDMOS module. It features instantaneous bandwidth with 3 dB peak-to- peak flatness and 24 A max consumption operating from a 32 VDC source. This unit is suitable for all single channel modulations standards and has built in protection circuits.

Spanning the 2300 to 2400 MHz frequency band, this internally matched amplifier covers band 30 and band 40 wireless infrastructure applications. The TQP9424 has 36 dB of gain and -47 dBc ACLR at 27 dBm. Recommended supply voltage is 4.5 V with 470 mA current draw.

The TGF2977-SM provides 5 W of saturated power from 8 to 12 GHz for various applications including marine and weather radar, military radar and avionics. Operational to very low frequency, the recommended bias voltage is 32 V. The TGF2977-SM provides >50% PAE and small signal gain of >13 dB at mid X-band frequencies.

The Qorvo TGA2976-SM provides 10 W of saturated power with an input power of 0.5 W. While large signal gain is 13 dB, small signal gain is >20 dB. Supporting applications in frequencies from 100 to 3000 MHz, the TGA2976-SM requires a 40 V bias with 360 mA of current.
