Raytheon books $106 M Paveway II contract

Raytheon Co. booked a $106 million contract for its combat-proven Paveway™ II family of precision-guided munitions. The company was awarded the direct commercial sale from an international customer. The contract includes Paveway kits for both GBU-12 (500lb) and GBU-58 (250lb) guided bombs. Paveway is a Raytheon-designed kit that transforms "dumb" bombs into precision-guided munitions.

Cobham subsidiary in Brazil secures first major contract

Cobham’s Brazilian subsidiary has secured its first major contract in Brazil to equip State Police helicopters with high definition (HD) video surveillance downlinks which will be used on helicopters in 12 cities during the 2013 Confederations Cup and the 2014 World Cup. The contract was developed with a local integration partner following the opening of the Cobham’s Sao Paulo office in August 2012 and includes both airborne and ground based equipment.

Thales to deliver Squire radars to Norway

Thales and Vinghøg AS signed a contract for the delivery of 44 Squire battlefield surveillance radars, to be deployed by the Norwegian Armed Forces. The first 10 systems will be delivered in the second half of 2013. The last delivery is scheduled for beginning of 2017.
