TestMart, a marketplace operator and service provider for the test and measurement industry, announced an agreement with Ophir RF, a designer and manufacturer of high power, solid-state, broadband and band-specific amplifiers. The deal provides the US government and federal contractor marketplace with special pricing on a select catalog of RF power amplifiers.

TestMart is now authorized to offer Ophir RF amplifiers ranging in frequency from 10 kHz to 8 GHz, with power levels from 1 watt to above 2 kilowatts. Ophir RF products are used in the EMC, defense and communication markets for applications such as EMI and RFI testing, jamming, radar, electronic warfare and wireless local loop (WLL). The amplifiers follow major modulation schemes CDMA, TDMA, GSM and IMT2000/UMTS. The equipment is available to those who qualify under a set of General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).

"This agreement with Ophir RF helps us continue to offer the US government an extensive catalog of quality, affordable products," said Peter Ostrow, president and CEO of TestMart. "Ophir RF amplifiers provide government users terrific alternatives in the search and procurement of the most respected brands under GSA contract that are compliant with the federal Competition in Contracting Act (CICA)."

"Ophir RF chose TestMart's offering to effectively expand our military visibility and access," said Ilan Israely, president of Ophir RF. "The tools and services TestMart provides will help further assist current federal customers and expand our reach into this channel."

Ophir RF products are under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) managed by TestMart, who will provide content, transaction, marketing, sales support and reporting services around them. TestMart also will provide presentation and order processing though the GSA's e-commerce Web site, www.gsaadvantage.gov, and the company's own on-line marketplace, www.usa.testmart.com.
