EMS Wireless, a division of EMS Technologies Inc., announced that it has shipped more than $80 M in orders for its products from January through the first week of December 2005. That represents almost double the orders shipped during all of 2004.
"This is the first time in any calendar year we have exceeded $80 M in sales," said Gerald Hickman, senior vice president and general manager of EMS Wireless. "A key contributor has been the widespread acceptance of our Cobra™ Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) antennas. More of our customers are now offering broadband services, such as high speed data and video communications via cell phones, and our antennas allow them to easily fine-tune their networks for optimum speed and clarity."
