EDI CON Online 2020, an interactive event that was held every Tuesday in October 2020, provided training and keynote sessions for engineers working on RF, microwave, EMC/EMI, signal integrity and power integrity designs. The event, which held live online sessions that are now available on-demand, displayed impressive results for its second year with more than 1,600 unique live attendees and 6,900 total sessions attended to date. As compared to its inaugural year in 2019, the number of attended sessions grew by 45+ percent.
Participants noted their overall satisfaction with the event. 98 percent of attendees surveyed said they would attend another EDI CON Online conference, 97 percent would recommend the event to a colleague, and a combined 97 percent of attendees rated the sessions as excellent or good.
An attendee who shared feedback stated, “Excellent content from the presenters. Strongly recommend both industry and academia to attend EDI CON Online.” And another response, “Thank you. Well done. Excellent speakers. Format for talks and timing made it easier to fit into my schedule.”
Over a span of four weeks, EDI CON Online 2020 consisted of 44 speakers, four plenary keynote talks, 20 technical sessions and 16 sponsored workshops. Platinum sponsors: Keysight Technologies, Samtec, and Rohde & Schwarz delivered engaging keynote video presentations. The technical sessions and workshops offered opportunities for attendees to ask questions during live Q&A sessions.
Event organizers have already announced the EDI CON Online 2021 dates. The online conference will take place every Wednesday in August 2021, with a plan to present sessions over four consecutive weeks (August 4, 11, 18, and 25) which will be organized into the following tracks: 5G/Wi-Fi/IoT; PCB/Interconnect; Signal Integrity/Power Integrity; and Radar/Automotive/SATCOM.
