Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that during the second quarter of fiscal 2020, its Santa Clara, Calif.-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a $1.3 million follow-on order from a domestic integrator for Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTA) for a U.S. government SATCOM application.
The Ka-Band TWTAs ordered for this challenging Army application are part of Comtech Xicom Technology's industry-leading high efficiency TWTA product line and will be delivered in 2020.
