Odyssey Technical Solutions announced the formation of their new Industrial Repair Division. As Eric Nail, VP at Odyssey explained, "This is a natural transition for Odyssey, as the industrial equipment in many ways parallels what we already repair on a daily basis. We look forward to offering the industrial RF, microwave and DC equipment manufacturers and end users the same high quality repair, with good turnaround and pricing."
Odyssey, for the last 18 years has been gaining market share in the very competitive semiconductor equipment repair space, and today find themselves the world leader in their niche market. President of Odyssey Jim Plourde said, "We are ready to take on the next set of challenges. When Eric Nail and I started our business in a 1500 sq. ft. rental, we never dreamed we would own a 32,000 sq. ft. facility employing over 60 people. Odyssey is built on our dedicated team, as well as long standing excellent customer and vendor relationships."
Their new facility (2016) in Round Rock was designed with optimized work flow and higher repair capacity in mind. Odyssey is ISO and ESD certified, with IPC trainers on staff. Their slogan, "You're Not Just Another Repair Customer, We're Not Just Another Repair Company," is as true today as has been over the last 18 years.
