Wireless System Simulation Software
The Symphony series wireless system simulation software combines schematic capture and high frequency system analysis in a single, easy-to-use graphical interface. The software adds powerful analog and digital signal processing (DSP) system analysis capabilities for the design of wired and wireless communications systems to the company's Serenade series design suite. The software includes DSP and built-in analog component libraries for the complete end-to-end simulation of digital wireless communication systems. Blocks such as channel coders, modulators, equalizers, filters, amplifiers, mixers, oscillators and fading channel models enable engineers to quickly design wireless systems. Customizable toolbars provide a means to access commands and system blocks. On-line documentation, including a context-sensitive elements catalog, also is provided.

CDMA Automated Test Software
Version 2.1.1 of the company's CDMA automated test software (model CATS-98A) provides testing of mobile receivers and transmitters as specified in IS-98A and J-STD-018. The software integrates the company's wireless impairment system (WIS-98A) with a base station simulator for comprehensive and accurate testing of CDMA-based mobile telephones. New features include easier test parameter editing, branch and skip functions, spectrum analysis data plots, additional test modules and an improved Microsoft Word-based report generator.
