Calypso Wi-Fi module: UART-to-Wi-Fi bridge with a live demo

The Calypso Wi-Fi module developed by Würth Elektronik eiSos is intended to be used as a radio sub-system in order to provide WLAN (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) communication capabilities to systems. The UART acts as the primary interface between the module and a host microcontroller. The module can be fully configured and controlled using a set of AT-commands sent as messages via UART. Once configured, the module independently manages WLAN connectivity allowing the host controller to utilize its resources for its application tasks.

Adrastea-I - High performance, ultra-low power consumption, multi-band LTE-M and NB-IoT module.

The Adrastea-I module has multi-band support and can be operated through one of two (LTE- M and NB-IoT) cellular communication technologies. This enables the support for international, multi-regional coverage. For example, wherever LTE-M does not have coverage, the Adrastea-I can be configured to use NB-IoT instead, and vice versa. The module is 3GPP Release-13 compliant, upgradable to Release-14.

Proteus-e – a low cost miniaturized Bluetooth® LE 5.1 module

The Proteus-e is a radio module for wireless communication between devices such as control systems, remote controls, sensors etc. On the basis of Bluetooth® LE 5.1, it offers fast and secure data transmission of data packages between two parties (point to point topology). Within these two parties, Proteus-e implements the Bluetooth LE role "peripheral". The other device (e.g. a Proteus-III or a smart phone) must implement Bluetooth® LE with the role as "central".
